THIS STARTED AS A VIBE.

It started kind of randomly—like most good things do.

Missy first noticed Gretchen because of her vibe. The tattoos, the style… she just looked like a good time. Gretchen, on the other hand, took notice when Missy showed up to her son’s baseball game in a full cheerleading outfit. That told her everything she needed to know.

From there, things didn’t exactly move slowly.

Missy started supporting G Soul Co., buying pieces constantly and showing up to help with events. Gretchen couldn’t quite figure out why Missy wanted to be around her so much—but Missy had already decided. Once she realized Gretchen didn’t drink, it clicked. This wasn’t just surface-level. This was someone she could actually build a real friendship with.

Looking back, they both agree it’s probably a good thing they met later in life. Because if this friendship had happened earlier, it might have been a little too much fun in all the ways you’re thinking.

Things moved quickly—fast enough that Gretchen finally decided it was time to define what this actually was.

G: “People are asking what we are… what should I tell them?”
M: “We spend every moment together. You can tell them we’re best friends.”

And just like that, it was settled.

Since then, they’ve been locked in. Their kids are the same age, their lives naturally overlap, and most days are spent laughing at conversations that probably shouldn’t be as funny as they are. Somewhere in the middle of all of it, Gretchen had a thought: we should start a podcast.

Missy didn’t hesitate. Immediate yes.

WE AREN'T HERE TO HAVE IT ALL FIGURED OUT.

WE’RE HERE TO TALK ABOUT REAL LIFE.

We know life doesn’t fit into neat categories—and neither do the conversations we have. The Nut Farm is built on honesty, humor, and the understanding that most of us are just figuring things out as we go.

We talk about motherhood, relationships, mental health, and the moments that don’t always make sense at the time. The messy parts. The funny parts. The things you replay in your head and wonder if anyone else has experienced too.

This isn’t about giving advice or pretending to have answers. It’s about creating space for real conversations, where nothing is off-limits and nothing has to be perfect.

Because sometimes the most powerful thing isn’t fixing your life—it’s realizing you’re not the only one living it.

The Nut Farm is part therapy session, part group chat, part stand-up comedy—where motherhood, relationships, mental health, and past mistakes all get put on the table. With every episode, you’ll laugh, cringe, and probably think, “wait… same.”
